Terms & Conditions – Maid Service Home

1. Placement Fees

For hiring a maid/servant through Maid Service Home, the placement fee is equivalent to one full month’s salary, plus a one-time non-refundable registration charge of ₹1,250.

Example:

  • Placement Fee = ₹30,000
  • Registration Charge = ₹1,250
  • Total = ₹31,250 (payable before the maid joins)

Note: The maid’s monthly salary is not included in this fee and must be paid directly by the client.

2. Replacement Policy

Clients are entitled to free replacement for 11 months from the date of joining, with a maximum of 3 free replacements. If the maid continues beyond 11 months, new placement charges apply. No refund if the client terminates voluntarily.

3. Non-Refund Policy

Once the maid has joined, the placement and registration fees are strictly non-refundable, even if the client cancels during the replacement period.

4. Salary Payment

The placement fee covers only recruitment. The maid’s monthly salary must be paid separately and directly by the client from her joining date.

5. Job Description & Salary Agreement

  • The client must provide a clear job description and agreed salary.
  • The maid cannot be forced beyond the agreed role.
  • The maid cannot be paid less than agreed.
  • No replacement or refund if the maid leaves due to these reasons.

6. Replacement Conditions

  • Clear all pending dues of the current maid before requesting replacement.
  • Provide at least 15 days’ prior notice.
  • Replacement maid will have same role and salary as original.

7. Temporary Absence

If the maid is absent for up to 15 days (illness/personal reasons) but confirms return, client must wait. Replacement considered only after 15 days.

8. Police Verification

Maid Service Home shares only the documents received from the maid. Police verification is the client’s responsibility. Company is not liable for misconduct after placement.

9. Advance Salary

Giving advance salary is the client’s responsibility. Maid Service Home is not responsible for refunds if the maid leaves after advance payment.

10. Replacement Delays

Maid Service Home aims to provide replacements within 15 days. If unavailable, a credit note equal to service fee will be issued. No cash refunds.

11. Security Check

The client is responsible for checking the maid’s belongings (bags, purse, etc.) when she enters or leaves the premises. Maid Service Home will not be responsible for any theft or missing items.

12. Workplace Ethics

The client agrees to treat the maid/servant respectfully and not subject her to mental or physical abuse. Any mistreatment or changes in agreed job role or salary can result in the maid leaving, in which case no replacement or refund will be provided.

13. Travel Expenses (Pickup & Drop)

Additionally, if the client terminates the maid’s services for any reason, the client is also responsible for paying her return travel expenses from the client’s home back to her native place or original residence. Maid Service Home. will not be liable for any such travel-related expenses.

14. Salary Timeliness

The client must ensure timely payment of the maid’s salary. If the maid leaves due to delayed payments, the client will not be eligible for any replacement.

15. Relocation Clause

If the client relocates to a different city and the maid is unable to continue working at the new location, Maid Service Home will not provide any replacement.

16. Goods and Advance

Maid Service Home is not responsible for any advance salary, personal items, gifts, or goods given to the maid/servant by the client at any stage.

17. Leave Policy

The client must provide 2 paid leaves every month to the maid/servant. If these leaves are denied, the client must compensate the maid with 2 days’ additional salary for every month where leaves were not granted.

18. Trial Period

There is no free trial period. From the first day the maid joins, the full placement fee is applicable, irrespective of whether the maid continues or not.

19. Working Hours

Working hours must be agreed at the time of hiring. Any extra hours worked beyond the agreed limit must be compensated with additional payment by the client.

20. Mobile Phone Usage

Usage of mobile phones by the maid should be mutually agreed upon between the client and the maid/servant. Maid Service Home will not be responsible for any related disputes.

21. Job Role Changes

After placement, if the client wishes to change the maid’s job duties, prior written approval from Maid Service Home is mandatory. Unauthorized changes void the replacement and refund policy.

22. Dispute Resolution

In case of any dispute, both parties agree to attempt mutual resolution. If unresolved, disputes will fall under the legal jurisdiction of Mumbai courts only.

23. Service Limitation

Maid Service Home acts solely as a placement agency and is not the legal employer of the maid/servant. We are not liable for her behaviour, actions, or performance after placement.

24. Document Verification Disclaimer

All identity and address proofs of maids are forwarded as received from the candidates. The client is solely responsible for verifying these documents. Maid Service Home does not verify their authenticity.

25. Communication Disclaimer

All communications (verbal, written, or digital) from Maid Service Home are for information purposes only. We are not responsible for any misunderstandings arising from them.

26. No Direct Hiring

Clients must not directly hire or rehire any maid referred by Maid Service Home without prior approval. Violation of this condition will result in the client being liable to pay full placement charges.

27. Misuse of Candidate Information

Any personal details shared regarding candidates must not be misused, shared, or forwarded. Maid Service Home is not responsible for any misuse by the client.

28. Payment Details

All payments must be made only in favour of “Sudama Devi” or “Jayram Mandal”. Payments made to any other account will not be considered valid.
